Day 1 : Ljubljana Arrival to Ljubljana Airport. Welcome and greeting by the english speaking guide/driver and transfer to the hotel. After some refreshing sightseeing tour of the old town squeezed between the castle hill and the river. If time permits also visit of the castle tower for panoramic view of the city. Overnight in Ljubljana. Day 2 : Bled - Bohinj - Ljubljana After the breakfast drive towards Julian Alps to visit lake Bled where we enter more than 1000 years old castle 130 meters above the lake and small island with church in the middle of the lake. In the afternoon drive to visit place where locals go - lake Bohinj, beautifuly located in between the mountains. Very scenic countryside drive. In the evening transfer to Ljubljana. Overnight in Ljubljana. Day 3 : Ljubljana - Zagreb After breakfast drive towards Croatian capital – Zagreb with stop along the way (Otočec) and after arrival to the Croatian capital sightseeing tour of the old town (church of St. Mark, Cathedral, Parliament, Ban Jelačić square etc.). In the afternoon free time to visit some galeries, museums or just to enjoy in one of many cafes. Overnight in Zagreb. Day 4 : Zagreb - Sarajevo After breakfast continue with private tour with drive towards Bosnia and Herzegovina and its capital Sarajevo, host of winter Olympics in 1984. Upon arrival visit of tunel of live that saved the city during 1990s siege. In the afternoon check in to the hotel and visit of city centre which is considered to be border between Orient and Western Europe. Explore Bascarsija (old town) and taste local specialities such as čevepčiči, burek etc... Overnight in Sarajevo. Day 5 : Sarajevo - Mostar - Dubrovnik After breakfast drive towards Mostar, town along Neretva river over which beautiful UNESCO protected bridge was built. Today it is a must stop in Bosnia and Herzegovina. In the afternoon continue towards Dubrovnik and evening arrival to the pearl of Adriatic. Overnight in Dubrovnik. Day 6 : Dubrovnik - Kotor - Dubrovnik After the breakfast drive to Montenegro. Visit of the biggest fjord in Adriatic – Boka Kotorska with charming UNESCO protected Kotor and sightseeing with private local guide. After Kotor you will take spectacular road towards Njeguši for breathtaking views of the Boka Kotorska. Visit of the old Royal capital – Cetinje and descend down to the coast near Budva – the biggest coastal resort of Montenegro. Return to Dubrovnik. Overnight in Dubrovnik. Day 7 : Dubrovnik - Split After breakfast drive towards biggest town in Dalmatia - Split. Split is considered one of the highlights on this exclusive ex-Yugoslavia private tour. Explore Diocletians palace - during centuries transformed into the old city centre of Dalmatian capital. Guided tour of the old town with visit of the Diocletians palace, cathedral st. Duje, Temple of Jupiter etc... Overnight in Split. Day 8 : Trogir - Zadar After breakfast continue with private tour towards Trogir – charming medieval Reneisanse town built on a small island squeezed between the mainland and island of Čiovo. Admire the famous cathedral st. Lawrence and city walls surrounding old town. All city is UNESCO protected. After that we continue towards Zadar that used to be capital of the Dalmatia. Admire the Sea Organs and Sun salutation with medieval churches of St. Donatus and St. Anastasia and visit of old Roman Forum. Alfred Hitchcock described sunset in Zadar as the best in the world! Overnight in Zadar Day 9 : Plitvice - Opatija In the morning drive towards Plitivce lakes to visit one of the most popular sites in Croatia that is also protected under UNESCO. 16 big and small lakes and 92 waterfalls form one of the most magnificent sites in the world. Visit of the park and in the afternoon drive towards Opatija - 19C aristocracy resort for overnight. Overnight in Opatija. Day 10 : Postojna - Ljubljana After breakfast enter Slovenia and visit of spectacular Postojna caves with small train taking you through fascinating caverns. Nearby visit of Predjama castle - built in front of the cave 120 meters above the river. In the afternoon arrival to Ljubljana for overnight. Overnight in Ljubljana. Day 11 : Ljubljana - Departure After breakfast transfer to the airport Ljubljana (possible also to Venice etc...)
