Visit the most beautiful cathedral in Šibenik and return to Zagreb.Day 1: : Zagreb After arrival to Zagreb airport welcome by your local private guide and drive to Zagreb for afternoon/evening sightseeing tour of the old town (church of St. Mark, Cathedral, Parliament, Ban Jelačić square etc.). Overnight in Zagreb. Day 2: : Zagreb - Opatija After late breakfast drive towards the Adriatic coast and its 19C resort - Opatija. Time for walk on the boardwalk or relax in one of great hotels overlooking the Adriatic sea. Overnight in Opatija. Day 3: : Opatija - Pula - Rovinj - Opatija In the morning day excurison to Istrian peninsula and visit of its two most known towns. Largest Pula with its great Roman amphitheatre and interesting old town with 2000 years old history. Continue to Rovinj which it tought to be one of most beautiful town on Adriatic coast. Walk through this picturesque old town overlooked by dominant church of St. Euphemia. Evening return to Opatija for overnight. Day 4: : Opatija - Plitvice lakes - Zadar After early breakfast drive towards Plitivce lakes to visit one of the most popular sites in Croatia that is also protected under UNESCO. 16 big and small lakes and 92 waterfalls form one of the most magnificent sites in the world! In the afteronoon drive towards Dalmatia to visit Zadar that used to be capital of the Dalmatia. Admire the Sea Organs and Sun salutation with medieval churches of St. Donatus and St. Anastasia and admire old Roman Forum and most beautiful sunset. Overnight in Zadar. Day 5: : Zadar - Trogir - Split After the breakfast drive towards Trogir, also UNESCO protected due to renaissance buildings surrounding the cathedral of St. Lawrance and charming narrow streets which originates from the original antique Greek settlement. And in the afternoon exploration of Split where in the Roman times, emperor Diocletians palace stood – but today it is transformed into beautiful old town where thousands of people still live. Walk through Golden gates of old palace, explore the substructure of the palace to get an idea how palace used to look like, visit of cathedral and temple of Jupiter (later in history transfromed in baptistery). Overnight in Split.. Day 6: : Split - Dubrovnik In the morning drive towards southern Croatia towards Dubrovnik for a sightseeing tour of this beautiful town which Is often called – pearl of Adriatic. Exploration of the old town, with one of the best preserved medieval centres in Europe. Walk on the city walls and in the evening admire sunset from spectacular viewpoint above the town. Overnight in Dubrovnik. Day 7: : Dubrovnik - Hvar In the morning you will leave Dubrovnik and start with drive along the coast towards the ferry connectiong mainland with island Hvar. Ferry to the island of Hvar and drive through all island towards its main city named Hvar as well. Hvar is one of the most famous towns along Dalmatian coast. Visit of one of the most picturesque towns along the coast with rich Venetian influence and great location protected by "Devils islands". Overnight in Hvar. Day 8: : Hvar - Šibenik - Zagreb in the morning we proceed towards the ferry connecting island Hvar with Split. Continue with drive towards Šibenik which is proud of its UNESCO protected cathedral built in 15C and 16C by Juraj Dalmatinac. Town is the youngest of all Dalmatian towns, built "only" in 8C by Croatian kings and thats why the only one with medieval city centre on Croatian coast. In the evening arrival to Zageb for overnight. Day 9: : Zagreb departure After breakfast drive to Zagreb airport and end of tour.
