KOPER, PIRAN & LIPICA

The tour starts in the Koper port from where we take a short walk through the old town and see the Pretorian Palace,  the cathedral, Loggia, etc.

Next we drive along the coast through the coastal town of Izola to Piran for a sightseeing tour of the old town with georgeous Tartini Square, named after the famous local composer Giussepe Tartini.

Afterwards some free time for coffe or light lunch, we head towards Lipica.

In Lipica stud farm we admire the Lipizzaner horses in their ˝birthplace˝, established in 1580. Small and inteligent white horses were raised for Spanish riding school in Vienna and today you can still admire them in the stud farm with aprox. 200ha and around 400 horses. If we have a chance (and time) we can also see them performing in classical riding school (Tuesday, Friday, Sunday at 15. 00).

After the visit we head back to the Koper port.
