In the morning we head towards the NE part of Slovenia. First we visit Maribor, the second biggest town in Slovenia. Set on the banks of Drava river, Maribor has lots to offer especialy to all the wine lovers. The town is proud to have the oldest vine in the world (over 400 years old) along with one of the biggest wine cellars in Europe – Vinag.
Afterwards we head towards Ptuj, one of the most beautiful towns in Slovenia, with rich history from the Roman time and the Middle Ages. Walk through the old town with Orpheus monument, Slovenian square, Minorite and Dominican monastery, Ptuj Castle, etc.
Near Ptuj, in the middle of wineyards, we find a picturesque village called Jeruzalem, famous for fine wine & dine and its spectacular sights.
In the late afternoon we slowly return towards hotel.

Maribor, a city nestled in the embrace of the green Pohorje Mountains. The city is located by the Drava River and in its centre grows the oldest – over 450 years old – vine in the world.
Visit the oldest Slovenian town – Ptuj. In the Late Iron Age it was settled by Celts, followed by Romans and lastly by Slavs, Germans and Slovenians. Main site in the town its castle with the best collection of items in Slovenia.
Slovenia has a very strong wine culture with many local wine producers all over the country.
