We start our trip at the hotel and drive towards Slovenia´s most famous ski resort, Kranjska Gora. This small tourist town is famous for skiing and also for ski jumping nearby, but also very popular in summer months as base for trekkings in nearby mountains. After Kranjska Gora we drive over the famous mountainpass Vršič (1611meters high), that was built during Russian prissoners of war during the WWI. We make a few stops to take some beautiful pictures of the area that is also known as the Kingdom of Goldenhorn.
We continue our drive along the Soča river towards Kobarid where we visit WWI museum and the ossuary above the town. Afterwards we head towards the most famous wine-producing region, Goriška Brda, with charming hills surrounded by vineyards. In the afternoon/evening we return to your hotel.
