Day 1

Ljubljana arrival

Arrival at the Ljubljana airport and start of 3 countries gourmet tour. Meet & greet with your private guide/driver and transfer to your hotel. In the afternoon free time to enjoy walking by the Ljubljanica river, do some shopping or visit one of the coffee shops. Overnight in Ljubljana.

Day 2

Ljubljana – Logarska Valley – Luče

After breakfast a walking tour through the old part of the Slovenian capital. We continue towards Logarska Valley, one of the most beautiful Alpine glacial valleys in Europe. Relax in the peaceful ambience or do some hiking, cycling, etc. In the afternoon we drive to a farm stay in Luče nearby Raduha Mountain. It offers a combination of traditions that passed from a generation to a generation and modern influences. Dinner and overnight in Luče.

Srive along meadows and the mighty Logar linden tree on a fairy tale road with a view on the towering walls of the Alps surroung the valley.

Day 3

Luče – Arboretum – Bled

From Luče we continue to Arboretum, the most visited horticultural facility in Slovenia. We will stop for a lunch in the middle of the greenery. We then visit a unique handcrafted distillery, based in northern Slovenia for a tour and spirits tasting. Our drive takes us to the next restaurant to enjoy in the delights of Slovene Nouvelle Cuisine. Our last stop is Bled where we spend the night.

Day 4

Bled – Bohinj - Bled

Visit of the island with its small church in the middle of the lake and Bled Castle for its amazing panoramic view. You have to try the local delicacy, ´kremšnita´. Drive deeper into the Julian Alps to explore another Alpine pearl, Bohinj, with cable car ride to Mt. Vogel. In the evening we return to Bled for a dinner. Overnight in Bled.

Lake Bohinj is one of the top natural pearls of Slovenia. In the summer time its clear water offers the possibility of bathing and other sports activities.

Day 5

Bled – Kranjska Gora – Soška dolina

In the morning we drive to Kranjska Gora, Slovenia’s largest and most visited ski resorts. We then drive over the mountain pass Vršič into the valley of river Soča for some breathtaking views. Possible visit of Fort Kluže (from WWI) and Kobarid Museum (WWI) which in 1993 received an award for the best European museum. We end the day with a dinner at Ana Roš´s, the World’s Best Female Chef for 2017, restaurant: Hiša Franko. Overnight in Kobarid.

Kranjska Gora, a picture-book village wih a great ski resort just a few miles from both the Austrian and Italian borders. It is perfect for families as it offers a top-notch ski school that specialises in developing students’ abilities as well as some challenging runs, including a black run used for the FIS World Cup races.

Day 6

Kobarid - Goriska Brda

From Kobarid we continue to Goriska Brda, the most famous wine producing area in Slovenia with an idyllic landscape and excellent local delicacies. We stop at a local wine producer for wine tasting and a fine dinner in one of the restaurants. Overnight in Goriska Brda.

Goriška Brda are the most famous wine growing region in Slovenia. Rolling hills with picturesque churches and tiny villages surrounded with vineyards. Great place to relax and enjoy in great food and wine.

Day 7

Brda – Cividale

We continue to Cividale del Friuli, a picturesque small town in the northern Italy. Cividale is most famous for its Lombard history and strong historic and artistic heritage. Enjoy in one of the exquisite restaurants Cividale has to offer. We recommend Orsone, surrounded by vineyards in an exclusively elegant atmosphere or La Subida, highly acclaimed Michelin-starred restaurant. Overnight in Cividale.

Day 8

Cividale – Karst – Grožnjan – Rovinj

We return to Slovenia, more precisely, to Karst to continue with gourmet tour. Drive through the Karst region to taste some of the fine wines and pršut and admire the idyllic landscapes. We stop at a homestead for some wine tasting and continue to Grožnjan, a small Istrian town in Croatia, where we try some white truffles and do some wine tasting at a local winery. In the evening we drive to Rovinj for an overnight.

Day 9

Rovinj – Pula – Rovinj

In the morning day we visit one of the Istrian peninsula most known towns, Pula, with its great Roman amphitheatre and fascinating old town with 2000 years old history. Continue to Rovinj which it thought to be one of the most beautiful towns on Adriatic coast. In the evening some fine dining in the first restaurant in Croatia to be awarded a Michelin star. Overnight in Rovinj.

The most famous sight in Pula – Roman amphitheatre, also called Arena. Built during the 1st century AD and completed under the reign of Emperor Flavius, this amphitheatre is the sixth largest in the world (of those that still exist).

Day 10

Rovinj – Postojna Cave – Ljubljana

In the morning we departure from Rovinj towards Postojna to visit the biggest cave in Slovenia and one of the biggest in the world, the 21 kilometres long Postojna Cave and discover the underground world of stalagmites and stalactites. We stop at farm stay to try some Slovenian traditional cuisine. In the evening we drive to Ljubljana to dine at JB Restaurant and for an overnight.

Slovenia

One of the largest caves in Europe with its 21 kilometers, Postojna cave. It is known as number 1 attraction in Slovenia so make sure not to miss it.

Day 11

Ljubljana departure

Transfer to the airport and end of services.
