HIGHLIGHTS ON LJUBLJANA TO DUBROVNIK PRIVATE TOUR
Arrival to Ljubljana airport (or nearby) and transfer by your private guide to the hotel at lake Bled and check in. Sightseeing of the pictouresque town with castle and a small island. Overnight in Bled.
We start the day with a walking through the most spectacular caves in Slovenia, Škocjan caves, today under UNESCO World Heritage. Next we head to the Lipica stud farm, birthplace of the Lipizzaner horses that dates back to 1580. In the evening return to Bled for an overnight.
From Bled we drive over the mountainpass Vršič towards emerald river Soča. Stop along the route to see the remains of WWI and drive to the famous wine-producing region of Goriška Brda to taste some world famous wine and overnight at local farm house. Overnight in Goriška Brda region.
Morning drive towards Ljubljana for a walk through the old town and visit the vibrant streets along the river with pictouresque Baroque and Art Nouveau architecture. Continue towards Plitvice lakes with some stops along the way. Check-in to the hotel and overnight in Plitvice.
We start the day with a walk through the Plitvice National Park admiring the lakes, waterfalls and spectacular scenery. Departure from Plitvice towards Dalmatia and its biggest town, Split. Upon arrival walk through the old town with the 1700 years old Diocletian´s Palace and vibrant street life. Overnight in Split.
In the morning we continue to one of the most beautiful islands along the Adriatic coast, Hvar and an interesting town with the same name. Walk through the old town and possible visit of the ´Devils islands´ near the town. Overnight in Hvar.
After breakfast we head on, driving accros Hvar island towards Dubrovnik. Upon arrival guided tour of Dubrovnik with local guide and visit of the Old pharmacy within Franciscan monastery and evening walk along the spectacular City walls. Overnight in Dubrovnik.
After breakfast some free time and later transfer to Dubrovnik airport to end the Best of Slovenia and Croatia tour.

Lipica stud farm on the border with Italy was established in 1580 by Austrian Archduke charles for needs of military. In Lipica you can enjoy in performace of Classical riding school several days per week and walk among stables holding more than 400 Lipizzaners.
