Bled – Bohinj

Upon your arrival in Slovenia, you will meet your private guide/driver who will accompany you throughout your Private Tour Slovenia. The first stop of the tour is the Upper Carniola region, where you will get to explore Bled and Bohinj lakes and take a cable car lift up to Mount Vogel. At the end of the day, you will check-in to your hotel in Bled and have free time to explore the area on your own. Overnight in Bled.

Bohinj – Soča Valley – Goriška Brda

We’ll start our day by driving through Kranjska Gora and crossing the Vršič mountain pass to reach the Soča river valley, where you’ll be treated to some breathtaking views. While there, you’ll have the opportunity to visit Fort Kluze, which dates back to World War I, and the Kobarid Museum, which was awarded the title of best European museum in 1993. We’ll also make several stops along the river and in the town of Bovec, a small tourist center popular among adrenaline seekers.

Later in the day, we’ll head to Goriška Brda, a renowned wine-producing region, where we’ll sample some local wines and enjoy a delicious dinner at one of the area’s restaurants. This will undoubtedly be one of the highlights of your trip. You’ll spend the night in Goriška Brda.

Karst Region – Lipica – Piran

After having breakfast, we will drive through the scenic Karst Region. During the journey, you will have the opportunity to taste some of the finest wines and pršut that the region has to offer. We will also visit the beautiful medieval village of Štanjel. In the afternoon, we will head to the Lipica stud farm to witness the magnificent stables and the performance of the famous Spanish riding school. Later, we will proceed to Castle Socerb, which offers a breathtaking view over the Gulf of Trieste. Finally, we’ll drive to Piran, a charming coastal town with strong Venetian influence, where we will spend the night.

Piran – Škocjan Caves – Ljubljana

The tour takes us to Škocjan Caves, a UNESCO World Heritage site in Slovenia. Afterwards we continue towards Ljubljana. Check-in at the hotel and sightseeing of the Slovenian capital along Ljubljanica river. Overnight in Ljubljana.

Ljubljana departure

After breakfast, you will have some free time to explore the town on your own. Later, you will be transferred to the airport, marking the end of your Best of Slovenia tour. End of services.
